What Does the Small Business Branding Package Include?
Branding is more than a beautiful logo or attention-grabbing visual elements. Branding helps to build trust and relationships with your audience. As your branding efforts continue to strengthen those relationships, you’ll gain more clients and increase revenue. If you’re reading this article, you’re probably already aware of the importance of branding and want more than just a logo.
Today I will go over my small business branding packages to give you a better idea of what to expect from each of my branding packages as well as who would benefit the most from each package.
What is a small business branding package?
A small business branding package is a set of brand elements that helps establish a professional and consistent brand image for small businesses. It typically includes a brand strategy and essential visual elements that make a business easy to recognize and consistent across different platforms.
Branded marketing assets such as social media graphics, business cards, and brochures are also available as an add-on to the packages to fit your business needs.
Who would benefit most from my branding packages?
My branding packages are designed for small businesses looking to elevate their brand with simplicity, refinement, and authenticity. If you’re seeking a timeless brand identity that goes beyond aesthetics — one that is not only beautiful but also functional and connects with your audience — this may be the perfect fit.
• Coaches, consultants, and educators who want a professional brand that builds trust and attracts the right clients.
• Creative professionals (writers, editors, photographers, and designers) seeking a minimalist and cohesive visual identity.
• Businesses that need a refined and professional brand presence that reflects their expertise and credibility.
• Entrepreneurs who started with DIY visuals but now need a strategic, high-quality brand identity to match their growth.
• Those who are struggling with inconsistent branding across platforms and need a refined, professional aesthetic.
Introducing 2 branding packages
I’ve created 2 branding packages to address the varied needs and design requirements of small businesses as they grow.
Basic Branding Package
Mini Brand Identity Design
The Mini Brand Identity package focuses on creating the fundamental visual elements that form the foundation of your brand identity. This package is perfect for small business owners who don’t need a full brand identity yet. It includes a text-based logo with a clean, minimal look that’s easy to use across all your marketing projects. With your new brand identity, you’ll be able to promote your small business confidently.
When you have a professional and consistent brand identity, creating marketing materials will be quicker and easier. You won’t have to struggle with picking colors and fonts every time you use your brand images. All your brand decisions will be conveniently located in one document. This document will help you create a consistent brand image across all platforms.
This basic branding package is versatile and perfect for business owners with different design needs.
For example: Let’s say you already have a logo, but you don’t have an official color palette and font system. When you create your marketing assets, such as social media graphics and presentation documents, you may end up using different colors and fonts. Or maybe you test out different colors and fonts since you haven’t established your brand style yet.
Another instance when the basic branding package would be a good option for you is when you already have a logo and visual elements, but they don’t look unprofessional. You don’t want to start over with a new concept, but you’d like to refresh the visual elements for a more refined and modern look.
What’s included in a Basic Branding Package?
My basic branding package includes the fundamental visual elements including a text-based logo design, color palette, and font selections.
When the project is completed, you’ll receive the logo files, brand style guide, and brand board.
You can find more information about a basic branding package on my service page.
How much does it cost?
This package is an affordable investment for most small businesses starting at $2,600.
Rebranding Package
Full Brand Identity Design
Typically, small business owners who have been operating for one to two years are well-positioned to benefit from a more comprehensive branding package.
What’s included in a Full Branding Package?
This package includes everything you need to establish a strong, cohesive brand identity. While the design process for the Full Brand Identity package is the same as the Mini Brand Identity package, there are some key differences between the packages.
We’ll spend more time on the clarity call to go over your brand strategy and mood board creation. In addition, your logo is not limited to a text-based logo — images can be included that may enhance the visual appeal of the design and potentially create an even more accurate expression of your brand.
When the design is done, you’ll receive an extensive style guide with all your brand visual elements (typically 10-12 pages long) including stock photo curation. And when your project is complete, we’ll spend some time together to go over how to use the various elements. Upon completion, you will have a professional, cohesive brand identity to promote your business with confidence and take it to the next level.
You can find more information about a full branding package on my service page.
How much does it cost?
The investment to take your brand to the next level starts at $5,000.
What’s the design process like?
For both packages, I use a design process that ensures we are aligned and heading in a similar visual direction.
1 Brand clarity session
We will spend 30-60 minutes (15-30 minutes for a basic branding package) discussing your brand strategy to ensure that I understand your brand vision. Since authenticity is such an important part of branding, I always make sure that I am in a relaxed state for our brand clarity session.
In preparation for our clarity session, you will be asked to do a little homework to gain some clarity on your brand.
Brand Questionnaire
The form includes questions about your business foundation, competitors, ideal clients, and brand personality.
The following are a few questions included on the questionnaire form:
What is your mission?
Who is your ideal client?
How are you different from your competitors?
What three keywords describe your brand personality?
To get a deeper understanding of your brand you can also download my brand clarity workbook. This workbook helps guide you through a process of self-discovery.

This 19-page workbook is a step-by-step guide to building a successful brand that attracts your ideal clients.
Create Pinterest inspiration boards
Sometimes, words aren’t enough. A visual board is a perfect way to express our visual ideas and ensure that we are both heading in the same direction.
You will be asked to gather at least 15-20 images that represent the look and feel of your brand.
While you are collecting images and creating inspiration boards in Pinterest, you will start to notice images with similar styles and color tones. This helps to steer the visual direction for the brand design.
Most of my clients already have a vision of what they want their brand to be like. I listen carefully to understand what they’re trying to express to their audience. The visual boards help me identify their brand style, which is an important step in the process of building a logo and brand identity. The more you can tell me about your brand, the greater our chances of creating a strong brand that connects with your ideal clients.
After our brand clarity call, the next step is to create a mood board based on all the information and images you provided. I will carefully select images that are meaningful for your brand and create one or two brand mood board options to choose from. This process helps to establish your brand look and feel, which is an important step in developing a visual identity.
2 Logo design
Once we’ve established the look and feel of your brand, I sketch out logo ideas on paper and transfer them to Adobe Illustrator. First, I’ll show you primary logo ideas. Then, when you’ve chosen your favorite, I create a secondary logo and logo mark based on the primary logo design.
3 Brand identity
Once the logos are completed, I create simple and cohesive visual elements that align with your brand personality and audience preferences.
Color palette
I will put together a color palette for your brand. Generally, essential color palettes consist of five to six fundamental colors including primary, secondary, neutral, and dark colors.
I usually create a minimal color palette because it’s easy to use and creates a memorable and impactful brand. You can always add brand colors as your business grows.
Typography
Selecting the right fonts for your brand image is important. The fonts used in a brand identity help to create an emotional connection with your audience. When selecting typefaces, I consider the following items:
A few typefaces (but no more than three)
Typefaces that have font families including light, light italic, regular, regular italic, bold, and bold italic
Typefaces that are easy to read
Once I create all the visual elements, I put them together on a brand board so you can experience the overall look and feel of your new brand style.
4 Brand style guide
When all the design work has been completed and approved, I put all the visual elements together in a 10-12 page document (a single page for the Mini Brand Identity package). The brand style guide provides easy-to-use guidelines on how your brand’s visual elements, such as your logo, color palette, imagery, and typography, should be used in print materials and digital platforms to maintain a consistent brand image across channels. You should refer to the brand style guide often whenever you’re working on your print or digital marketing materials.
Once the project is complete, I deliver all the final files via Dropbox. Initially, you may not know how to use all the files, so we will have a Zoom call to go over the files and ensure that you know which ones to use when creating marketing materials (the follow-up call is only available with the Full Brand Identity package).
5 Brand Board
Once the style guide is complete, I create a brand board. A brand board is typically a one-page visual guide that brings all your brand’s key design elements together. Think of it as a snapshot of your brand that serves as a quick reference guide for maintaining a consistent look and feel for your brand.
A brand board usually includes the following:
Logo – The primary logo and any variations (e.g., secondary logo, submark)
Color palette – A selection of colors that define your brand’s aesthetic
Typography – The fonts used for headlines, body text, and other contexts
Icons or graphics – Any additional design elements that add to your brand’s look
Brand voice or tagline – A short statement that captures your brand’s personality
Brand imagery & textures – Photos, patterns, or illustrations that reflect your brand’s style
Your brand board will save you a lot of time by keeping your branding simple and organized.
What makes my branding package so special?
I use a simple and clean design approach to help make your brand stand out and easy to remember.
You’ve likely noticed that the internet is quite saturated with products and services. Even if you provide a superior quality product, it’s getting harder to stand out from the competition. How do you attract clients? You get their attention with simple and clean design. Simplicity creates clarity, and in a crowded digital landscape, simplicity cuts through the clutter.
A brand with professional, high-quality visuals shows prospective clients that you care enough about your image to put in the time and effort needed to create superior aesthetics. A professional appearance increases trust in your brand and allows you to feel comfortable raising prices. In my experience working with a wide range of clients — from small businesses to large corporations — your business will prosper with agency-level design quality. You will feel confident and proud of your brand.
I create brand consistency with easy-to-use design assets to make marketing your brand easier.
I have over 18 years of design experience, and I’ve created marketing materials for various brands. First-time clients usually come to me with complicated brand elements making it difficult to achieve brand consistency. Whether you hire a designer or create your own marketing materials, complicated visuals will cost you a lot of time and money; it will be a frustrating experience for both you and your designer. Creating visual content can be an overwhelming process, but I can help simplify that process for you so you can be at ease.
Why am I so passionate about working with small business owners for branding?
I chose to take a leap and start my own design business because I wanted to work with people who build their businesses with passion and purpose. Most small businesses begin with a founder who has a story — a purpose beyond just making money. They build their business around their passion, guided by their values, and seek to work with people who share those values. I enjoy working with these like-minded individuals and helping them to achieve the life they desire.
Working with small business owners, I get to hear their life stories and passions firsthand. Every business owner has the potential to create a one-of-a-kind brand, and I feel deeply fulfilled when my clients see their vision come to life—like a fog lifting to reveal a clear path. Even if we never meet in person, I can feel their excitement and positive energy through our emails.
Finally, I believe in the power of connection — we all have the ability to help others. When people are happy, they naturally want to share that happiness. The world is full of beauty, and I want to help small business owners bring their unique vision to life and grow their businesses.
