Wednesday Inspiration: Font & Typography | No.8

Cinzel is a typeface inspired in first century roman inscriptions, and based on classical proportions. However it’s not a simple revivalism, while it conveys all the ancient history of the latin alphabet it also merges a contemporary feel onto it. ( Reference: GoogleFonts)
I like this typeface that is clean and elegant making a website beautiful. Unfortunately, Cinzel exists in uppercase only. You can download the Cinzel free font family on GoogeFonts.

Cinzel doesn’t have a big font family, so it’s a great idea to pair with another font. Here is an example of the font combination of Cinzel and Open Sans for a website project. Montserrat is also another great font to pair with.
